College & Professional Showcase

Each fall, Ripken Baseball hosts a Showcase for high school baseball players. This 3-day event is a chance for players to showcase their baseball skills in front of college coaches and major league scouts. In addition to gaining maximum exposure, players will also be given advanced instruction throughout the weekend, which they will then take with them as they advance their young baseball careers.

PUT YOURSELF ON THE MAP!

Players will be evaluated with: 60 yard dash, Arm Strength test, and hitting. Players will also be able to showcase their skills in game settings. Visiting scouts will receive a packet that includes detailed information on each showcase participant. Ripken Showcase attendees have included:

• Division I Recruiter - University of Maryland
• Division III Recruiter - Villa Julie College
• Jr. College Recruiter - Dundalk Community College
• Professional Scouts - NY Mets, Phillies

The 2008 Mid-Atlantic College & Professional Showcase at Ripken Stadium in Aberdeen, MD will be held October 10-12, 2008.
